The Bridge partners with Refuge for Women, a Christ-centered aftercare home in McHenry County that offers safety, counseling, and life skills to provide a new beginning for women who have been trafficked and exploited.
There are two levels of volunteering for this ministry. One is directly through Refuge, which has various positions, such as teaching, cooking, studying for GED tests, grocery shopping and more depending on your skill sets and their current needs.
Another way to volunteer is through a small group at The Bridge that periodically does craft days with the girls (card making, cookie decorating, painting, etc.).
